(More customer reviews)i bought this shell after seeing my friends "speck" shell. i was expecting something along those lines, e.g. a hard, snap on, rigid shell. when this item arrived, i was disappointed. it is merely a cheap plastic case wrapped in vinyl that looks like carbon fiber. not at all worth the price. due to its construction, it acts as an insulator on the unibody macbook pro which causes my $1700 laptop to run way hotter than it ever should. the snap-on tabs are very shoddy and do not hold well, also this shell makes the macbook way bigger and bulkier than i ever imagined it could.
conclusion: save yourself $30 and buy a speck shell, i know i will be purchasing one.
