(More customer reviews)An exceptionally well constructed hardbody case with clean, uncluttered lines in a subtle shade of off-white, low gloss (not matte) finish. It encases my macbook pro like a well fitted glove and feels pleasing to the touch ... not slippery or tacky. All computer openings are accessible and the bottom piece is more than adequately and amply provided with air holes for cooling and ventilation. There are four color coordinated rubber 'feet' that raise the computer fractionally off of a surface, and offer additional air flow and stability. The top is simple elegance, enhanced by its 'not-quite white, almost light ivory' classic color. This case is noticeably better constructed and more sturdy than the flimsy, clear plastic case on an older macbook. I did considerable research before choosing this particular model of the Encase, and still had a bit of hesitation when I pressed the Amazon purchase key. I need not have: the case arrived quickly, well packaged with with clear instructions and was easy to attach with tabs that are unobtrusive. The top and bottom slip off quickly and reattach quickly and snugly. The Apple logo is not visible through the plastic which additionally offers a simple, unassuming uniqueness to the overall appearance of discernment. This macbook pro and this Encase look like they are an efficient and elegant complement to one another.
