This is the second Asus in my my family, and i have to recognized this brand rocks, great prices, great battery life, not as at advertised, but using wifi, for email purposes, around 9 hours.
No hassles with the keyboard, mouse or anyuthing, even so i can give you the advice that after you remove the sticker in the mouse, you must clean it with a moistured pad.So it will run more smoodly.
Dont think it twice this is a Best-Buy.
Pros:Really Slim, Amazing battery life, Nice Display, ultrafast booting, 8 sec system to browse, music, skype,etc..!
The only Cons: Its hard to keep it without fingerprints because of their finish.

Jump Lists New in Windows 7, Jump Lists take you right to the documents, pictures, songs, or websites you turn to each day. To open a Jump List, just right-click a program icon on the Windows 7 taskbar. (You'll also find them on the Start menu.) What you see in a Jump List depends entirely on the program. The Jump List for Internet Explorer 8 shows frequently-viewed websites. Windows Media Player 12 lists commonly-played tunes. Your Jump List missing a favorite? You can "pin" whatever files you like there. Jump Lists don't just show shortcuts to files. Sometimes they also provide quick access to commands for things like composing new e‑mail messages or playing music.

Improved Windows Taskbar In Windows 7 you can "pin" favorite programs anywhere on the taskbar for easy access. Not crazy about the icon lineup? Now you can rearrange them any way you like by clicking and dragging. Finally, there are new ways to preview windows. Point to a taskbar icon to see a thumbnail preview of open files or programs. Then, move your mouse over a thumbnail to preview the window full-screen. You can even close windows from the thumbnail previews--a big time saver.

Snap Ever need to cut through a cluttered desktop and quickly focus on a single window? Just click a pane and give your mouse a shake. Every open window except that one instantly disappears. Jiggle again--and your windows are back.

Energy Efficient Intel Core 2 Duo ULV Processor Offering the latest in ultra-low voltage processing power, the dual-core Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 has a has a power consumption rating of just 10 watts and a 1.3 GHz speed that's paired with a fast 800 MHz front-side bus (FSB) and 3 MB L2 cache. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)

Eye-Catching Sophistication Impress onlookers or complement any setting with the UL80AG's brushed aluminum finish and high-class appeal. Simply opening the notebook you notice the interior casing around the display that brings the color to life so that time-after-time the UL80AG shines with a brilliant, high-gloss finish. Epson MovieMate 60 Portable Projector, DVD and music player combo (V11H319220) Review

Epson MovieMate 60 Portable Projector, DVD and music player combo (V11H319220)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Epson has created a winner here with an all-in-one projector with integrated DVD player and powered speakers. Just add a screen for an instant movie night at home or on the road... even in the backyard. The projector's 2,000 ANSI Lumen rating means that it can drive a very large screen - Epson says up to 14.5 feet diagonally, but at this size, pixel structure is visible and you need a very dark environment to prevent the image from getting washed out. But in the 80-100 inch range, the MovieMate 60 provides a bright colorful picture from DVDs, and looks even better if you plug in a high definition set-top box or Blu-ray player to its HDMI input (720p and 1080i HD sources are supported, converted automatically to the projector's native 540p resolution).
The sound isn't quite a match for the picture, with fairly weak bass, but dialog comes through cleanly and the built-in 20 watt amp and stereo speakers are strong enough to provide better sound than most TVs. The MM 60 offers a headphone output as well as a coax digital output in case you want to hook it up to a more powerful audio system. It also includes a microphone jack so you can rock out with some giant screen karaoke! The unit has a fixed lens with only 1.3x zoom which means it is not that flexible in placement. You will need to have it centered and pretty far back from the screen in order to create a large image. It does well on a coffee table about 8 to 12 feet away from the screen, depending on how large you want the image to be. For larger screen outdoor viewing, it will need to be even further back.
It's tons of fun to connect a Wii or other game console, for virtually life-sized game play. But remember to stand or sit behind the projector when playing so you won't cast a shadow on the screen. It's also an excellent choice for a senior center or local recreation center as you can be ready for a movie night or slide show in just a couple of minutes and you can pack everything away in a closet when not in use.
Although you can project the image onto a white or off-white wall, this will not give you the best results. We'd recommend using the Epson Duet Screen which isn't too expensive, and offers a 80-inch diagonal screen in 16:9 mode (or 65-inch screen in 4:3 mode). It folds away for storage and is pretty easy to set up. Its white matte screen and black frame help to enhance the contrast and brightness of the image giving you a more movie theater-like experience (but hopefully without the sticky floors!).
Overall, we give this 4 stars for its audio and video performance, but it's definitely super-fun and convenient. If you want a big screen experience virtually anywhere with a minimum of fuss and a budget-friendly price, it's hard to do better than the MovieMate 60. A full review is available on big picture big sound (dot com).

ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-EU1X-BK 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 4 Hour Battery Life

All in all, the 10005ha is probably the best all around netbook you can buy. While the toshiba and the samsung have better keyboards, and the toshiba has a better mouse...the samsungs speakers are much improved...each oft hose has major flaws (toshibas battery sticks out of the case and their speaker is on the BOTTOM...Samsung used a glossy screen that reflects direct light and becomes unwatchable unless shaded! Plus its a 270 prcoessor not a 280, and no BT).
If you want the biggest and baddest power netbook out there, the asus is it.

Just not THIS one. There are various flavors, all called 1005HA. You really WANT the bigger one. You get BluteTooth, you get a 10.5 hour battery instead of this measly 3 cell 4 hour thing, and you also get a real camera (1.3mp, good enough for skype chatting at decent level...the 0.3 that this stripped down model comes with I wouldnt OWN! Thats designed output resolution size smaller than a PDA screen!!! Cellphones have better cameras!)
Yes, I strongly recommend the asus...they make a good machine. Anything with an N270 or 280 really isnt half bad. Unfortunately newer netbookz will all start getting the cheaper slower Z processors...thank you for that INTEL....so if you are planning to do MORE Than email or chat...wanna run some programs...or god forbid MULTITASK, the newer 12 inch netbooks will all be SLOWER! The few already available all have Z processors, and all the future ones are scheduled to. Its a chip thing. Plus the N's like the 1005ha are ridiculously power efficient...hence the longer battery lyfe.

But a 1005 (or a 1008, less battery, but prettier with covered side ports...if that matters to you)
You cant go wrong with a toshiba either. I liked mine, the keyboard was great, so was the mousepad...samsung also...but you try all 3, and you realizee mostly identical after practice....but the asus has better performance in all the unfelt but measurables. longer battery, beter performance (slightly) bluetooth, Wireless N, its the one. At least for the moment.

Panasonic TC-P42U2 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Review

Panasonic TC-P42U2 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is my first HDTV purchase and I'm very happy with it. A friend suggested I go with Panasonic as I'd get the most bang for my buck, and she was right.
The stand was easy enough to assemble and the set looks and feels well-constructed and appropriate for any room decor. The menus are user-friendly and initial setup was a breeze; an explanation is shown for every available option, so people who aren't familiar with funny acronyms don't need to look through the user manual.
The video quality is outstanding. I tested it first with my PS3 (my main reason for buying a tv) and the colors really pop out at you. I was worried that the plasma would be too dark, but it handles both bright and dark colors exceptionally well. Nothing looks washed out or too black. The only complaint is that the screen brightness can be overpowering with the Game and Vivid settings (I'm more a fan of the latter, but it depends on the game), but the brightness can be adjusted and the adaptive lighting seems to work well enough. I would have liked an overall gamma setting, but you can tweak the video to be nearly perfect with the tv options and the video source's settings. Also, the anti-glare works well enough that I can keep one set of curtains open while viewing and the picture doesn't suffer.
Next, I connected my laptop through its HDMI output (most customers probably don't have this but I'll mention it anyway). 1680x1050 resolution seems to work the best as 1920 left the desktop looking too small and making it easier to notice the pixels, and anything smaller doesn't fit just perfectly. I think these are issues with my laptop giving the tv strange resolutions that it's not used to, but these aren't enough to detract from the quality of the tv. I tested a few games at 1280x960 and they looked better than they do on my laptop's screen (anything less than 1680 on my computer is fuzzy). As mentioned before, small portions were cut off of the left and right sides but it was only enough to notice while on menus. I'll definitely be using this tv as a monitor for schoolwork. Movie quality is great with compressed video files, so I'm sure the blu ray will be amazing.
The speakers are sub-par, but they're not terrible. I was still able to enjoy the games without the extra oomph of a solid set with a woofer, but my next priority will be audio.
I'm satisfied with the connections in the back of the tv. I'm only using it for HDMI and occasionally the RCA at the moment, but the optical audio out is convenient if go that route for speakers (I'm not sure if this is standard now but I like it).
Overall, I'm very happy with the tv and would buy it again. The price you pay is well worth the quality you get out of it. Aside from a few minor issues and poor speakers, it's a great HDTV.

Apple MacBook Pro MB604LL/A 17-Inch Laptop (2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, Slot Loading SuperDrive) Review

Apple MacBook Pro MB604LL/A 17-Inch Laptop (2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, Slot Loading SuperDrive)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'm not a gamer so this review may not be helpful to those who want a computer to play games.
I have worked as a professional software developer/architect for 17 years. I started with MSDOS 2.0 and have ridden the Microsoft wave all the way through Vista 64 and I had a few years with UNIX. I have personally owned or worked with computers from Dell, HP, Compaq, IBM. I have heard of Apple products but for the most part dismissed them as more toy than tool. (I was not alone in this perspective.) I like Microsoft but after working with it for the better part of 20 year I decided to look at something different.
I never thought I would purchase an Apple yet here it is. I am impressed to say the least and I see Apple as a serious tool that also makes a cool toy.
Pros:
Lightweight - Probably the lightest laptop I've ever worked with or owned
Solid - Normally when you get laptops at 15.4 or larger, chassis flex becomes evident as you can see them bend and they creak. Yet because of its single piece construction and light weight aluminum the MacBook feels good when you need to move it. I doesn't creak and there is no noticeable bend when lifted.
Battery Life - It just keeps going, and going, and going... Actually I am seeing up to 4 hours life on the fully charged battery. My previous computer never surpassed 1.75 hours.
Size - It is very thin and carrying it around is very comfortable. I had a 17" and while I like the large display its uncomfortable to carry like a book.
Magnetic Clasp - When closing the lid the owner is rewarded with a very solid thump instead of a "creak" "clack" that you hear from so many other laptops that use a plastic display and mechanical clasp. Opening the monitor is equally a pleasing. You place you thumb under the lip and lift. The laptop may slide a little on smooth surfaces but the lid comes up smooth and controlled.
Keyboard - This is a great piece of work. Does it have "Home", "Page Up", "Page Down", the legendary "Any" key? No. Doesn't need it. A little research and practice and you will find that these "missing" keys are functions of the keyboard and I don't miss them at all. Secondly the keyboard "key-float" (that rattle you hear when you lightly stroke your finger back and forth over a laptop keyboard) is almost completely non-existent. So when you're typing it doesn't sound like your wadding up crinkly plastic and you don't annoy your neighbors. The key throw is short but very pleasant. Another thing I like about the keyboard is that you don't feel like you will break the keyboard if your touch is a little heavy.
Display - The display is a work of art. No only does it look good, but flex has been reduced to almost nothing. It feels very solid and you don't feel you need to worry about tilting the screen from the corner. The glass cover over the LED lit LCD display is awesome. You can actually clean the screen without LCD screen colors distorting. Not to mention that is automatically dims in low light and the key board lights up in the same low light conditions. that's a nice touch. The display brightness is every bit as bright as my desktop LCD display in strong light.
Touch Pad - Any who has tried to use the touch pads on other computers (I hate them generally) will love this touch pad. It works like the iPhone (except scrolling is reversed for obvious reasons - you're not actually touching the screen). The touch is light and very smooth. Making the entire touch pad the button is brilliant, it took me almost no time to get use to it and now I nearly push a hole through the Dell touch pad before I realize I have to click the buttons. I have no trouble with inadvertent touch that moves my cursor away from where I'm typing.
Quiet - I have yet to hear the fans. It makes me wonder if they ever work.
DVD Superdrive - Finally! No cup holder comes sliding out of the side of my laptop. Just simply slide the disc in and your done. It operates like the CD player in a car. It is easy to eject from the screen or a key on the keyboard.
Fit and Finish - The best I've ever seen. The only thing I've seen is a very slight misalignment of the Express Card/34 slot door. But you really have to look close to see it.
Operating System - WOW. Fast, no anti-virus, stable: it just works. I won't get too much into the OS but I will say that once I understood how Apple likes things done OS X is very appealing. Not to mention that it sleeps and wakes up faster than anything I have ever worked with. Open the monitor and it's sitting there saying "come on, I'm tired of waiting for you".
Built-in Accelerometers - Not sure what they're good for, but they're cool. Like the iPhone the MacBook Pro has three accelerometers. There is an Stanford Laptop Orchestra uses MacBook Pros to make music using these accelerometers.
No Fresh Air Openings - I really dislike fresh air ports on the bottom of laptops. They are easily plugged and they suck fuzz and dust into the heat sinks. With my previous computers the fresh air ports were placed underneath the computer right where it sets on your legs. The result was you ran a big risk overheating the computer. The MacBook Pro pulls the cooling air through the keyboard and therefore has a smooth bottom making it far better to place on you lap.
CONS:
Chassis - While it is a brilliant piece of engineering there are a couple very minor issues.
One: Always pick the computer up with both hands. While this is true of all laptops you want to last, it's a little more important with this one. The metal around the ethernet port has been machined very thin which was necessary to fit the large jack in the rather narrow side of the laptop. So if you have the monitor open and grab the laptop with you left hand and your thumb over that jack you could dent the metal around it. It doesn't warp or twist the whole chassis, it's too strong but you could see a small indention in a otherwise straight piece of metal.
Two: The metal in the Battery/Hard Drive Cover is very thin and sometime appears to hang below lip of the chassis. You really have to look to see it and it isn't all the time. I don't think is is warped or bent, but just the natural flexibility of aluminum.
Touch Pad Click - While I absolutely love the touch pad (in fact I only use a mouse anymore when I am programming on it because of the nature of the software). If you try to click at the top of the pad (nearest the screen) the force required to click goes up quite a bit.
Price? - Not really a Con. Some have complained about the price. Three and half years ago I paid $5700 for a Dell 9100 laptop (All the bells and whistles, Window XP Pro, Office Pro, the works). It has been a great computer that has been put to pasture and my family uses it. I've only had two problems with it. The dreaded mexican jumping keys (a key flies off the keyboard after you press it down while typing; AKA broken key) Dell replaced the keyboard without any trouble and the hard drive crashed and needed to be replaced. The Dell computer when new cost more than twice the MacBook Pro does today and the only thing it has over the Mac (old age and technology not withstanding) is it's 1920 x 1200 pixel display compared to the Mac's 1440 x 900 display. If I were to order the most power 15.4 laptop Apple sells today, I would still pay half the price of the Dell and the Apple does much more and has better quality overall.
To summarize this is an accomplishment that the engineers, designers, and developers should feel proud. There is some room for improvement but these improvements are at a level that other laptops have to improve a great deal just to achieve Apple's shortcomings.
I could go on further but I think this is enough. Apple has truly developed a great product in both hardware and software and I recommend it highly.

Redesigned with a precision unibody enclosure crafted from a single block of aluminum, the 17-inch MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter than its predecessor as well as stronger and more durable. But Apple didn't stop innovating with the body's design. The MacBook Pro also includes a new high-resolution LED-backlit widescreen with a 1920-by-1200-pixel resolution, a greater color gamut for more vibrant colors, and a 700:1 contrast ratio that makes whites brighter and blacks blacker. It also includes the new glass trackpad that does away with the trackpad button (for larger tracking area) and features Apple's Multi-Touch technology. And the non-removable battery lasts up to 8 hours on a single charge and can be recharged up to 1000 times--compared with only 200 to 300 times for typical notebooks.
Under the hood, the MacBook Pro is powered by a powerful 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (with 6 MB L2 cache and 1066 MHz front-side bus), which runs applications faster and more efficiently as well as helps to reduce power requirements and save on battery life. And the MacBook Pro includes two video processors for ultimate flexibility: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics for great everyday performance and NVIDIA 9600M GT discrete graphics (512MB of GDDR3 memory) for fast, smooth video--perfect for 3D gaming.
It's pre-loaded with Apple's Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system, which enables easy backup of your most important data via Time Machine, a redesigned desktop that helps eliminate clutter. It also comes with the iLife '09 suite of applications--including the latest versions of iPhoto, iMovie, and Garageband--and the newest version of the fast-loading Safari web browser. Other hardware features include a 320 GB hard drive, 4 GB of installed RAM (which can be upgraded to 8 GB), an 8x combo Superdrive (for burning dual-layer DVDs as well as CDs), built-in Gigabit Ethernet for high-speed networking, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), FireWire 800 port, Mini DisplayPort video output (for DVI and VGA connections), and an ExpressCard/34 expansion card slot for expansion solutions such as 3G cellular networking.
The New MacBook Pro Design Traditionally notebooks are made from multiple parts. With the new MacBook all of those parts with just one part--the breakthrough unibody enclosure. Every MacBook Pro starts its life as a single block of aluminum, which is precisely machined into the basic unibody design. Another pass and the unibody takes shape. Another, and the integrated keyboard emerges. When you pick up a new MacBook Pro, you immediately notice the entire enclosure is thinner and lighter. And it feels strong and durable--perfect for life inside (and outside) your briefcase or backpack.

The standard aluminum electro-static trackpad has been replaced with a new glass Multi-Touch trackpad, which provides 40 percent more tracking area than before. Use two fingers to scroll up and down a page. Pinch to zoom in and out. Rotate an image with your fingertips. Swipe with three fingers to flip through your photo libraries. Swipe with four fingers to show your desktop, view all open windows, or switch applications. The entire trackpad surface is also a button, allowing you to both track and click virtually anywhere on the trackpad. And you can easily enable multiple virtual buttons in software, such as right-clicking.
The keyboard has also been improved, with the rigid aluminum keyboard webbing cut precisely to hold the keys, which are curved to perfectly fit fingers. And it's illuminated, so when you're in low-light settings, such as airplanes or conference rooms, you can always see what you're typing.
Vibrant Display With the high-resolution LED-backlit widescreen display on the 17-inch MacBook Pro, you get desktop-quality color in an Apple notebook for the first time. The moment you open your MacBook Pro, you're greeted instantly by full, corner-to-corner screen brightness. The 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution (133 pixels per inch) means you can view more palettes and windows or watch HD video in its native 1920 x 1080 resolution. Perfect whether you're working in the studio or out in the field, the display offers a 60 percent greater color gamut than previous generations for richer, more vibrant colors and a 700:1 contrast ratio that makes whites brighter and blacks blacker. In addition, the seamless glass enclosure makes the display stronger and more durable. Because it's power efficient and the glass is mercury- and arsenic-free, it's also greener than ever.
Long-Lasting Battery The 17-inch MacBook Pro includes a newly engineered lithium-polymer battery that that lasts up to 8 hours on a single charge thanks to advanced chemistry, intelligent monitoring of the system and battery, and Adaptive Charging technology. The battery is built right into the computer, eliminating the space-consuming mechanisms and housings that standard removable batteries require. This non-removable battery also provides a longer battery lifespan of up to 1,000 recharges--meaning fewer depleted batteries and less waste, which is better for the environment.
Giving it a lifespan of up to 1000 recharges required breakthroughs in battery technology. Apple electro-chemists developed advanced chemistry that maintains the battery's charging capabilities longer than ever. And while most notebooks wear down their batteries by charging them at a constant rate, the 17-inch MacBook Pro takes a different approach. Using an Apple-developed technology called Adaptive Charging, a microchip on the battery constantly communicates with the computer to determine the optimal way to charge its cells, adjusting the current up and down depending on a variety of conditions. Combined, these advancements offer a dramatic improvement in battery lifespan: more than three times the lifespan of typical notebook batteries--up to five years.
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Experience improved energy efficiency, expanded wireless connectivity, and amazing battery life with the 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which has a super-fast 1066 MHz front-side bus (FSB), and an extra-large 6 MB on-chip shared L2 cache running 1:1 with processor speed. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)
The new hafnium-infused circuitry--which reduces electrical current leakage in transistors--conserves even more energy, giving you more time away from the wall outlet. With 6 MB of shared L2 cache, data and instructions can be kept close to the two processor cores, greatly increasing performance and allowing the entire system to work more efficiently. And, because the processor cores share the L2 cache, either can use the entire amount if the other happens to be idle.
Video Processing & Output The new MacBook Pro combines the efficiency of an integrated graphics processor with the desktop-class performance of a discrete graphics processor thanks to the inclusion of both. Out of the box, it runs the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M processor, which provides plenty of performance for everyday use with up to 5 hours of battery life. But when you need turbocharged performance for the most graphically intensive tasks, the discrete NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT processor delivers--such as for demanding 3D games like Quake, Call of Duty, and Spore. And thanks to a new graphics architecture, it's easy to switch between these two processors. The 9400M graphics processor shares 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM with main memory, while the 9600M provides 512 MB of dedicated GDDR3 video memory.
The MacBook Pro includes a next generation Mini DisplayPort, which delivers a pure digital signal that can drive up to a 30-inch widescreen display. The Mini DisplayPort is ultra-compact at just 10 percent the size of a full DVI connector, and is compatible with Apple's 24-inch Cinema Display. Adapters are also available for using VGA, DVI/HDMI and Dual-Link DVI displays
Hard Drive and Memory The 320 GB Serial-ATA (SATA) hard drive (5400 RPM) quickens the pace with a higher speed transfer of data--akin to FireWire and USB 2.0. The 4 GB of PC3-8500 DDR2 RAM (two SO-DIMMs of 1024 MB) has an industry-leading 1066 MHz speed, and the RAM capacity can be increased to 8 GB.
Wireless Connectivity The built-in 802.11n wireless networking provides up to five times the performance and twice the range of 802.11g, but it's also backward-compatible with 802.11a/b/g routers, enabling you to communicate with the a wide variety of Wi-Fi resources. It works seamlessly with the new AirPort Extreme with 802.11n. Use the built-in Bluetooth wireless technology to connect to your PDA or cell phone, synchronize addresses, or download pictures from your cell phone. You can also use a wireless headset for iChat audio chats and VoIP calls as well as quickly share files with a colleague.
Video Conferencing with Built-in iSight Artfully placed in the glass display is an iSight camera, which enables easy video conferencing as well as allows you to snap pictures of yourself and create video podcasts. Using the iChat AV application, video conferencing is integrated into your iChat buddy list, so initiating a video conference is a breeze. iChat also lets you hold audio chats with up to 10 people and provides high-quality audio compression and full-duplex sound so conversation can flow naturally. For video podcasting, you can record a short clip using the iSight camera, then use iWeb to create a video blog entry or post your GarageBand-recorded podcast.

This is my fifth Samsung 1tb drive. They are by far the best in this size and class. I am using them exclusively in my custom build computers. I highly recommend this drive to anyone needing a fast, quite, and reliable drive.
However, you will want to get it elsewhere. What the hell is going on with Amazon and the shipping department!!! After reading the emails about their packaging I thought that Amazon would correct this. HELL NO!!! I just received the drive today. I cannot believe how the drive was packed. It was in a box alone with no, I repeat, no packaging at all. The drive was in the OEM plastic clam-shell container with nothing around it. This thing was slip-sliding around in the box for the past few days!! I am afraid to install it. This is ridiculous! This is not what I would expect from Amazon. I was forewarned by all the feedback. Unfortunately I did not heed the warnings hoping that mighty Amazon would do better. Well it did not happen. This is insane!! Shame on you Amazon. I will return the drive at their cost and go to Newegg. They know how to ship drives and delicate electronics.
UPDATE: NOT AGAIN!!!! After calling customer support to express my dissatisfaction with the way they shipped the last hard drive (which I returned) they said they would send a new one but ensure that it was shipped correctly. NOT!!! The replacement was shipped the exact same way. What is the problem here?! This one is going back again. This time I will take a refund and pass on getting hard drives from Amazon.

These are the identical glasses that are given to you for free when you go to see a Disney Digital movie. You can't use them anywhere else to see Disney Digital movies. The home version of Disney Digital movies do not use these glasses. There are high-end glasses for Disney Digital movies available to replace the ones they give you, but these are not them. Don't waste your money on these unless you want a souvenir.

This is not for the Macbook Pro pictured, this seems to be for the more recent (2009-2010) Macbooks with the keys with spaces between them.
I have a "MacBookPro3,1" (2008 version), and this is not the right size. On the bright side, it's flexible enough that it still works ok, just not very well.

Garmin BlueChart Americas Saltwater Map CD-ROM (Windows) Review

Garmin BlueChart Americas Saltwater Map CD-ROM (Windows)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although the packaging offers coverage of the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and South America on this expensive CD, you can only unlock a very limited "region" with your original purchase. Says Garmin tech support, "When you purchase BlueChart, you're entitled to one free region, and then additional regions can be purchased for $116.65." The word "free" here reflects Garmin's generally abysmal use of language found on their Web site, a labyrinth of obfuscation tangled in their arcane and ultra-paranoid "unlocking" technology and hidden prices. Unlike their Topo and City Navigator CDs where you get a lot of maps for your money, BlueChart gave me a limited sliver of southwest Florida for my purchase price. When I went to load Cape Cod, I discovered I would need to pony up another $116 for this small region. To unlock everything on this CD would costs many, many thousands of dollars, and nowhere is this clear to the unwary consumer.
What is especially grating in all this is that Garmin relies on U.S. government maps and GPS satellites that we taxpapers have already paid for. I find the marketing of Blue Chart really deceptive, especially given the important public safety implications of nautical mapping.
I would add that boat-towing travelers and nautical siteseers will need shoreside mapping and road info, for which these charts are useless, so you'll need additional map products and memory cards to show roads, parks, dining, and local amenities. Buyer beware.

Garmin's exclusive line of BlueChart marine cartography products is designed to provide interactive viewing of detailed nautical chart data. These detailed electronic nautical charts look just like paper charts when displayed on your Garmin chart plotter. Descriptive details for features typically found on nautical charts can easily be viewed with a simple key press. Cursor movements over the chart provide descriptions for contour depths, chart number, navaid name, and much more.
BlueChart data includes shaded depth contours, intertidal zones, spot soundings, wrecks, navaids, port plans, restricted areas, cable areas, anchorages, and more. Additionally, BlueCharts include information from the paper chart used in the digitization process, such as chart number, name, scale, revision date, and Notice-to-Mariners date.
Three MapSource BlueChart CD-ROMs are available: Americas, Atlantic, and Pacific. The Atlantic CD-ROM covers Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. One CD-ROM contains BlueChart data for an entire region. MapSource BlueChart is a Microsoft Windows-based program that uses Garmin Unlock technology, allowing you to use one coverage area from the CD-ROM when initially purchased and to purchase additional coverage areas. Internet access is recommended for the unlock process.
Compatible products include these Garmin marine chart plotters: GPSMAP 176, GPSMAP 176C, GPSMAP 182, GPSMAP 188 Sounder, GPSMAP 232, GPSMAP 238 Sounder, GPSMAP 2006, and the GPSMAP 2010. BlueChart CD-ROMs are also compatible with Garmin GPS receivers that accept map data, including the GPSMAP 76, eTrex Vista, and eTrex Legend.

This is a video review of the Lenovo S10-3t with Windows 7 Premium and 2 GB of memory.
My overall impression is quite positive given the flexibility of using my existing PC applications and using it as a tablet for reading e-books, surfing the internet, and watching videos. One pleasant surprise is that the wide screen display gives me a much better internet browsing experience than my other existing netbooks. In my opinion, it does a lot more than an iPad with a similar price as its low-end model.
The multi-touch experience is not the best but it works quite well after some training.
Hope you enjoy this video
Cheers

Zalman ZM-RSSC External USB 5.1 Sound Card Review

Zalman ZM-RSSC External USB 5.1 Sound Card
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this card to use in my home theater. I use a laptop as my primary media device so I can play discs, media files, Netflix, YouTube, etc., all from the same piece of equipment. However, this laptop is older and doesn't have anything more than a basic stereo sound card. I needed something that would process in true 5.1 surround.
Two things to note: the optical/coaxial port on this device is 3.5mm, which is NOT a standard size for audio outputs. You'll need an adapter or specialty cable to interface this card with an audio processor. It's not expensive (I found one on amazon for about $3), but it was frustrating having to wait an extra few days to be able to use the card. The mini-size is just not normally found at everyday retail outlets like Best Buy. The other thing is that if you want pure 5.1 sound from a DVD or 5.1 sound source, you'll need to tell the software to output to S/PDIF. Otherwise, it will process a 2-channel sound into "fake" 5.1 rather than the separation that is intended on the disc. I am having trouble with using this card with VLC, but it works fine with WinDVD.
Otherwise, good card. Clean sound with solid separation.

I got this pen a few weeks ago, it is absolutly perfect, I have had no problems with it!!!
It does take a little getting used to and it may seem daunting at first wehn you are using it, b/c the clippeis(used to hold it onto the paper seem very fragile.
The handwriting recognition software workes very well, I have very poor handwriting and it worked with mine(its often described as a doctors scribble, lol). It also works very well as a digital notepad to draw/modify digital drawings. I am an art student and because they have seen me working with it on my computer have ask to borrow it in calss to work with and loved it. Several have even purchased their own:)
I use notpads and have found that if i cut a piece of the cardboard holding it together into a strip into wich i can work it is wonderfull :)

Samsung 500 GB SATA II Hard Drive HD502HJ Review

Samsung 500 GB SATA II Hard Drive HD502HJ
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pros:
One year has passed since the F3 first came out and as far as I can tell it's still the fastest 7200 rpm 500 gig drive on the market, faster than Seagate 7200.12 (clearly) and WD Caviar Black (just barely). Probably the quietest as well. I bought and reviewed this drive almost a year ago--it was my first Samsung--and my experience thus far has been all good. Have bought three more since. No regrets. The F3 has become my drive of choice.
Cons: My older F3s, while performing good as new, are now producing more vibration than my new ones. This concerns me. I will update this review if there is further deterioration.
Other Thoughts:
From my first NewEgg review 8/29/09: "I was looking for the fastest single-platter drive, for the usual technical reasons, having been very pleased with the single-platter low-profile drives in the 7200.10 series. Wasn't sure if the new F3 would live up to the F1's excellent reputation. Found some tests of F3s released a bit earlier in Europe and decided to take a chance. The Polish benchmark turned out to be the closest to what I ended up getting. My newly formatted, otherwise empty disk showed HD Tach readings of 256.2 MB/s burst, 13.5ms random access, 4% CPU utilization, and 121.9 MB/s average read. I tested three times and the numbers were within 1-2%, this being the best. Looks like the F3 is indeed faster than the 7200.12 in synthetic testing. As to real world performance and longevity, we'll see. Will follow up this review if I run into any issues. Based on my first impression, though, I've already ordered a second drive."
Now I have four. Glad I took a chance when these first came out. I have included screen shots of my HD Tach results above.

Average Reviews:

I was nervous about spending a thousand dollars on an item I didn't know much about, but now that I've had this projector for a month I consider it worth every penny.
The picture is great, and the projector offers every control and setting in an intuitive fashion. The only thing I don't understand is why it has the swivel base, that seems like a useless feature, but hey, one extra feature is better than one too few.
I've used the projector with game systems, my computer, and of course just in DVD mode. All were set up in less than a minute (the DVD in seconds). I think even grandma and grandpa could get this thing working without the instruction book.
I use it to play movies on my wall at home and the video and audio quality is great, and it's amazing to have a big screen right there in the living room or bedroom just by having moved some pictures around.
The only think I caution you on is to make sure you get the "US" version, there is an international version floating around that apparently has a 90 hour "demo" bulb rather than the standard 3000 hour bulb. Also the warranty is 90 days rather than a year.
