(More customer reviews)Please let me state right off: the rating does NOT relate to the actual performance of this drive. Thats because I never got to try it... When I bought this drive, and at the time of this writing, the description states it works with ALL MacBook Pros. It DOES NOT. If you have an older IDE based MBP then you should be fine. If you have a newer SATA MBP (>2008) then do not buy this drive. Whats really sad is that even after I argued with this idiot (seller PowerOptical) over about 10 emails that "All MacBook Pros" should even cover "Unibody" MacBook Pros, the description is (currently) still incorrect. To top it off, instead of seeing his error during this correspondence, he (or she I suppose) kept insisting the unibody was NOT a pro model... even though a direct copy past from [...] said it was, that I "had not done my research" so I would have to pay return shipping AND the restocking fee. Yeah, it was MY fault I took the description for what it said. My bad.
