(More customer reviews)Bought this a few days ago to replace a two year old HP Pavilion.
The Good:
* The GUI is definitely faster than the Nvidia GO7150 on the HP
* Keyboard and pad are good
* Average battery life
* Fairly light weight and slim
* Blu-ray works well and looks fair. (Haven't check the HDMI out into my projector, but not much need for it)
The Not So Good
* Disappointed with the highly touted LED Cinamatic Display. Not nearly as crisp and vibrant as the old HP, but not terrible. Just disappointing.
* The speakers, although better than the HP, do not come close to the Dolby Home Theater description on the laptop. (One should never really expect much in sound quality from a laptop, but Acer promoted it to be something great)
* The Atheros wireless adapter does not work with a 5mhz router. Only 2.4mhz. I verified this with a Acer support chat. So if your thinking of using this on the high side of a dual band router, think again. The old HP Broadcom adapter works fine on either.
I plan on keeping this. It's definitely worth the money, (so far)
