(More customer reviews)I have a Macbook Pro 13" that I purchased in January 2011 and this adapter works excellently, supports both video and audio. I have an older Macbook pro that I purchased in 2009 and this adapter plays video but the older Macbooks don't support audio output except through the headphone jack. All-in-all, this is a great product.
