2. spend the 88 $ and upgrade ram to eight gig (website is wrong )
3. make a set of recovery discs as soon as you get it
4. get a solid state drive or hybrid drive as it runs alot faster with them (500gig hybrid on amazon like 97$ now )
5. note - linux fans out there- you wont be able to dual boot this puppy as there's an issue with AMD chipset. I tried for 2 weeks and couldnt get it . Currently using ubuntu 11.04 with the old classic interface as unity sucks IMO. (my skill level at computers is novice - intermediate so if you can get it to duo boot then Guess I should wear a plastic helmet)
6. Spend an extra 35$ and get an external DVD rw drive for making the recovery discs and putting software on.
7 Comes with win 7 professional and IE 9- if you gonna use this may take some tweaking to get the bloatware out.
-if you do recommend disable win defender, firewall, update and get 3rd party software for firewall and anti virus (Kaspersky is good)
8 I actually have a think-pad x100e also and had no problem with duo boot (intel chipset too ~ not amd) ...wouldn't buy AMD chipset computer again though -too many issues
9. I like to tweak alot of things and have tied may configurations with Linux and had problems with alot of the distros except Ubuntu.
