(More customer reviews)They did a great job with this sleeve. The leather feels expensive and supple, the stitching is top quality, and the overall look is elegant. The sleeve is light, so it doesn't add much to my Mac Air's weight, and yet the padding is generous. Nor does the sleeve add to the size much: I can still slide the laptop with its sleeve into a standard document partition of a small, European briefcase that has no laptop compartment. The flap closes tightly and easily with the two Velcro strips and the strong, silky, red string. A nice touch is a little leather tab at the end of the string: it looks like a tiny cowhide, and has the word "leather" on it. The sleeve fits the laptop perfectly, and there are no gaps or openings. The "Civilian" logo on the front of the sleeve is discreet, and so are the vent holes. If you think that a "leather Manila envelope" would look tacky, think again. Somehow, in black, this just works very well. I love it!
